Thịt Bò Nướng Lá Lốt
(Beef in Hawaiian Leaf)
Try our signature dish of Thịt Bò Nướng Lá Lốt (Grilled Beef wrapped in Betel Leaves, often called Beef in Hawaiian Leaf in the United States due to the similarities in cooking techniques). This is a unique recipe for this dish created by our parents while they still lived in Saigon, where it was very popular!
A seasonal treat (dependent on availability of tropical fresh betel leaves), the ground beef is richly seasoned with lemongrass, then rolled in the betel leaves. Deliciously served over Vermicelli with fresh-cut lettuce, bean sprout and pickled carrot, topped with ground peanut and dipping sauce on the side.
As an alternative, you can enjoy our Bò Lá Lốt served with softened rice papers, folding the meat in them like fresh spring rolls with mint, lettuce, cilantro and then match them with your choice of delicious beer!

Not to be outdone by our Thịt Bò Nướng Lá Lốt are the delicious beef flavors of our Phở! The Noodle House Phở has no MSG! Instead we use high quality ingredients and simmer the bones for 24hours to make a traditional, healthy broth full of flavor, using the recipe developed by our parents, and handed down with pride through our family.

It is the dream of our family to share with you
this delicious, authentic home-made food.
It is a long-standing tradition to cook these same dishes, using the exact recipes refined by our parents, to enjoy during our family reunions and special events. All of our family learnt how to cook from our parents, who combined the best flavors and recipes of North Vietnam where they grew up and where Pho originated, with the flavors of Southern Vietnam where they lived for 40 years before moving to the United States.
